Job summary

UAB Medicine is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for night shifts at UAB St. Vincent's East. You will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients within a dedicated team-focused unit.

Responsibilities include initial assessments, developing and adjusting care plans, coordinating with the treatment team, and co-leading group therapy sessions as needed. BLS and Alabama nursing licensure required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire.
• Alabama Board of Nursing licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per facility policies.
• Perform bio-psychosocial assessments and plan of care.
• Participate in treatment team conferences to plan goals.
• Implement nursing plan and co-lead group therapy.
• Evaluate response and revise plans with the team.
