Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic's Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour night shift on the Gen/Surgical Unit. The RN will provide professional nursing care in line with standards and policies, combining clinical expertise with compassionate, relationship-centered service.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and RN licensure in Maryland or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification and ability to use electronic health records.
• Strong communication and collaboration with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered care.
• Administer medications and monitor for efficacy and side effects.
• Maintain accurate and timely healthcare records.
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge.
• Design and evaluate nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
• Carry out bedside care with compassion and professionalism.
