Job summary

Trinity Health’s St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the MG1 Step Down Unit on the night shift.

This full-time role covers a 7pm-7:30am schedule with weekend work, providing direct and indirect patient care in a 26-bed unit with telemonitoring capabilities. You will assess patients, document care, collaborate with the interprofessional team, and uphold infection control standards while delivering education and compassionate care to diverse patient

Qualifications

• ASN/BSN from an accredited school is required or preferred.
• PA RN License must be active.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 1 year of bedside nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess learning needs and readiness to learn, addressing barriers to education.
• Document admission assessments, reassessments, plans, interventions and medications per policy.
• Utilize information management system to enhance communication and document changes in patient condition.
• Communicate patient transfers and pertinent information during bedside rounds.
• Recognize and address patient special needs and involve appropriate referrals.
• Include pain management and supportive care in the plan of care.
• Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
