Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the MG1 Step Down unit on a full-time, 12-hour night shift (7pm-7:30am).

The role supports direct patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and helps with equipment, supplies, and patient transport on a 26-bed unit with telemonitored patients and a 3:1–4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, PA CNA registry or clinical rotations, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PA Nurse Aide Registry or completion of a nursing program clinical rotation required.
• EMT may be considered in lieu of required certification/clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follows RN instructions to provide direct and indirect patient care.
• Obtains supplies to prep patient rooms for admission or discharge.
• Assists with feeding, dysphagia precautions, and tracking intake/outtake.
• Collects urine, routine, Foley, and stool specimens as directed.
• Applies heat/cold packs and basic orthopedic support devices.
• Participates in hourly rounding to support patient safety and comfort.
