Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MG1 Step Down Unit on a 12 Hour Night Shift (7pm-7:30am). This full-time role focuses on delivering direct and indirect patient care with a commitment to safety and quality.

The nurse will assess learning needs, document assessments and plans, prioritise assignments, and collaborate with the interprofessional team while upholding infection control standards and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• BSN is required from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License and AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and/or indirect patient care with nursing skills.
• Assess learning needs and incorporate education into care plans.
• Document admission assessment, reassessment, plan and interventions.
• Prioritize assignments and communicate patient status during rounds.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment.
