Job summary

Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville, CA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Float for the Float Pool. This full-time night shift role requires CA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within six months, and strong nursing judgment.

The RN will provide holistic, individualized care and perform clinical skills on varied patient populations. The position emphasizes on-site work with opportunities for sign-on bonuses and referral incentives.

Qualifications

• Must have current California RN licensure.
• Must have and maintain current BLS certification or obtain during orientation.
• ACLS certification is required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and care for patients across age groups as appropriate.
• Perform holistic assessments and recognize changes in patient status.
• Identify nursing diagnoses and plan care with established standards.
• Ensure Care Plan aligns with patient needs and discharge planning.
• Safely administer medications and troubleshoot equipment.
