Job summary

Advocate Health – Atrium Health Lincoln Nursing Float Pool is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full‑time role in Lincoln, NC. You will participate in a rotating float pool across units, applying evidence‑based practice and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a BSN preferred and a board‑approved nursing program. Expect 7p–7a shifts, three nights per week, plus holidays and rotating weekends, with BLS and RN licensure in good standing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Maintains safety culture and adheres to policies.
• Delivers medications and therapies per protocols as needed.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
• Maintains accurate electronic health records and documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area.
