Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Med-Surg Float Pool II. This full-time role supports multiple units with 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, and rotating weekends to deliver high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in North Carolina, BLS certification, and NIHSS within 6 months of hire to ensure safe, evidence-based care across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS certificate obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
