Job summary

Monmouth Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Float Pool on the night shift. The role emphasizes safe, evidence-based patient care and teamwork within the RWJBarnabas system in New Jersey.

Requirements include an ASN or Nursing Diploma, 1–2 years in a specialty, active NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and strong communication skills. Night schedule is 36 hours per week with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a specialty.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills and basic EHR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to appropriate team members.
• Collaborate with other patient care providers to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• Utilize the nursing process to address each patient’s individual plan of care.
