Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch seeks a Clinical Care Technician for the Night shift in the Nursing Float Pool. This per diem, hourly role supports RNs with vital signs, mobility, and personal care in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in acute care or telemetry, a High School Diploma or GED, and a current AHA BLS certification. CNA experience is preferred and EHR documentation is routine.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care or Med/Surg/Telemetry experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; CNA or clinical program preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Previous nursing assistant experience or CNA certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Take vital signs and monitor health status.
• Document patient information in EHR with privacy.
• Follow infection control practices and safety protocols.
• Communicate with patients, families, and care team to coordinate plans.
• Provide BLS support and CPR when needed.
• Support patient care from admission to discharge and ensure safe transitions.
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and therapists as a team.
