Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- BLS certification and ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Telemetry/Medical-Surgical experience (1–2 years) is required; ventilator experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
- Administer safe, evidence-based medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families to support informed decisions.
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care transitions.
