Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health at Monmouth Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Care Technician to support the Nursing Float Pool. You will assist with vital signs, basic nursing tasks, and patient comfort, while helping RNs monitor conditions and carry out care plans.

Requires 2 years acute care or Med/Surg/Telemetry experience, a High School Diploma, and a current BLS. CNA or nursing program experience is preferred. Night shift; hourly pay with a transparent NJ wage line.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years acute care/Med-Surg/Telemetry experience preferred.
• CNA certificate or nursing program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and provide nursing care including vital signs and bedside care.
• Monitor patient status and document in EHR with confidentiality.
• Apply infection control protocols and assist with care plans.
• Communicate with patients, families and staff to coordinate care.
• Support RNs and respond with Basic Life Support in emergencies.
• Deliver patient care appropriate to age, safety and comfort.
