Job summary

Monmouth Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift in the Nursing Float Pool. The RN provides comprehensive nursing care, adheres to Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethics, and collaborates with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements include ASN or Nursing Diploma, 1–2 years in the specialty, strong communication, and computer skills. Certification in BLS/ACLS and NJ RN license are needed.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• 1–2 years’ experience within specialty.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Supervises and delegates tasks to the care team with appropriate direction.
• Maintains safety and quality through evidence-based practice and reporting safety issues.
• Applies the nursing process to individualize the plan of care.
• Collaborates with other care providers to ensure patient-focused care.
• Prioritizes interventions with measurable outcomes for improvement.
