Job summary

SSM Health in Bridgeton, MO is seeking a Regular Nurse to provide direct, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting during night shifts. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the interprofessional team, and advocate for patients and families to develop individualized care plans.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS HCP and RN licensure in applicable states, and 1–2 years of float nurse experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year RN experience (Ministry Float) or 2 years RN experience (Regional Float).

Responsibilities

• Use medical-surgical nursing standards to evaluate care quality for patients and families.
• Advocate for patient and family to facilitate the care plan.
• Apply the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Develop assessment and management strategies across physical, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational, and leisure dimensions.
• Coordinate with the interprofessional team in assessing needs, setting goals, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about measures to promote health and comfort.
