Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Adult Emergency Department at Park Ridge. This full-time night shift (7p-7a) position requires completion of an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure in Illinois, with BLS; ACLS, and PALS within 3 months of start.

You will deliver and coordinate patient care in a Level 1 Trauma setting, emphasizing safety, evidence-based practice, and compassionate communication.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers; ACLS; PALS within 3 months of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferably in Emergency or Critical Care nursing.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
