Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Olympia Fields, IL seeks a Temporary Internal Registry RN for the Night Shift in Emergency Services. The RN will deliver direct patient care, perform the nursing process, and collaborate with physicians in a fast-paced ED.

Requirements include a current RN license, BLS/ALS/PALS or ENPC as applicable, and BSN preferred. Facility certifications may be required within specified timeframes. This is a 12-week assignment with a night shift.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ALS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 60 days and maintain current.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe direct patient care using the nursing process in a Telemetry/ED setting.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and assist other staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with the physician and document findings.
