Job summary

MelroseWakefield Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for complex care in a high-acuity setting. The RN will provide direct patient care and family education according to physician orders and established policies.

The role requires Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS certification, and unit-specific certifications as needed. At least 1 year of RN experience is preferred, with BSN being an advantage. This is a full-time, day/ night shift position with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required depending on the unit.
• Experience required varies by level I–IV.
• At least 1 year of RN experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Evaluates and applies evidence-based practice.
• Conducts accurate clinical assessments and documents them.
• Develops and evaluates the patient’s individualized plan of care.
• Uses nursing judgment to tailor the plan based on patient needs.
• Manages patient assignment and delegates tasks appropriately.
• Develops a discharge plan with referrals to community resources.
