Job summary

The RN Complex Care role at MelroseWakefield Hospital provides direct nursing care to patients and families in a complex care setting, following established policies and physician orders. The position requires MA RN licensure and BLS certification, with department-specific credentials potentially required.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with the care team to achieve each patient’s plan of care.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN licensure is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.
• 1 year of RN experience required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders.
• Independently assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Develops, implements and revises the patient care plan as needed.
• Contributes to discharge planning and patient education.
• Supports and mentors other staff and precepts new team members.
