Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the MMC Southern Campus, Night shift. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessments, safe medication administration, and collaborative care within a high-performing Medical Surgical Unit V.

Ideal candidates hold an active New Jersey RN license, BLS, and a BSN preferred; strong EMR (EPIC) experience is advantageous. We offer a supportive environment, growth opportunities, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; patient care experience a plus.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) such as EPIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes, intervening early when needed.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly to prepare for next care steps.
• Document care accurately in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
