RWJBarnabas Health's Monmouth Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Surgical Unit III. This Night shift role focuses on comprehensive patient assessments, safe medication administration, and collaborative care in a high-acuity telemetry environment.

The successful candidate will have NJ RN licensure, BLS, and a BSN preferred, with EPIC EMR experience desirable. MMC has a strong culture of teamwork, safety, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes; intervene early and advocate for patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and provide hands-on care grounded in clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to support timely, well-coordinated care decisions.
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and families for next steps in care.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record to promote continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to drive communication and smooth transitions of care.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment with shared accountability.
• Pursue continuing education and opportunities for career progression.
