Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse Charge for the Post Surgical Unit on the full-time night shift.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to post-surgical patients, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with a skilled team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Candidates should have Texas RN license, BCLS/ACLS, and leadership experience; prior OR/orthopedic/charge experience preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
Current Texas RN License.
Current BCLS and ACLS certification.
PALS recommended.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for post-surgical patients in accordance with accepted standards.
Ensure high-quality and safe delivery of patient care, adhering to Joint Commission and state/federal standards.
Care for patients from 2 years to geriatric.
Respond to patients presenting with healthcare needs and perform Medical Screening Exam as delegated.
