Job summary

Maine Veterans is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Charge Nurse on the overnight shift at Freedom Bay Memory Care Village. You will provide clinical leadership to the nursing team and ensure safe, person-centered care for residents living with dementia.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, coordinating care, administering medications, and ensuring accurate documentation while staying compliant with regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Maine; graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to lead CNAs and nursing staff and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with dementia or memory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical care and nursing operations on the overnight shift.
• Supervise CNAs, delegate assignments, and manage staffing workload.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medications within licensure and policy; document care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and communicate with families.
