Job summary
AdventHealth Riverview in Florida is seeking a Night Shift RN to coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, and imaging. You will develop care plans, monitor progress, and ensure staffing and equipment availability.
This full-time role offers sign-on and relocation bonuses, and opportunities to lead clinical teams. The ideal candidate holds an RN license, BLS, and strong critical-thinking and communication skills to provide high-quality patient care while coordinating with physicians
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida or a valid multi-state license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Proven ability to supervise staff and coordinate care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and anesthesia.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans from assessments and orders.
- Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Manage daily schedules, including endoscopy unit staffing and equipment.
- Provide guidance to staff on procedures and patient care.
- Ensure timely communication among healthcare team members.
- supervise nursing assistants and evaluate performance.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
- Respond to emergencies and stabilize patients when needed.
