Job summary

AdventHealth Riverview in Florida is seeking an experienced registered nurse with leadership responsibilities to develop and implement patient care programs. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assess patients, and create individualized care plans to ensure high-quality nursing services.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and acute care experience, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Nursing is required.
Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
1+ year of acute care experience required.
1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
RN licensure and BLS required.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement service programs by assessing patient needs, setting goals, and outlining interventions to ensure quality nursing and patient care.
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional health, including medical history, physical exams, and interviews with patients and families.
Develop individualized care plans by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, performing medical procedures as prescribed.
Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to adjust care plans and improve service programs based on data and feedback.
Educate and train nursing staff on new service programs, protocols, and best practices to maintain high standards of care.
