Job summary

AdventHealth in Riverview, Florida is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead critical care teams on a full-time day shift. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and coordinate with physicians to implement care plans.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, 1+ year acute care leadership experience, and strong documentation skills in EMR. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing preferred, with commitment to Whole Person well-being and AdventHealth values.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (required) in the state of Florida or current eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates quality of patient care and outcomes based on treatments.
• Directs and coordinates nursing personnel activities on designated shifts.
• Ensures real-time documentation and prompt initiation/sign-off of physician orders.
• Advises nurses on the appropriateness of calling physicians.
• Acts as a role model by collaborating with staff and physicians.
