INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center Jim Thorpe Rehab in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a night shift, full-time RN Charge to lead nursing operations and ensure safe, high-quality patient care. The role includes staffing oversight, patient flow management, and coordination with physicians and care teams.

Responsibilities cover clinical leadership, delegation, and problem-solving to maintain efficient unit performance.

Competenze

• Current licensure as an RN in the State of Oklahoma.
• AS nursing is required; BSN preferred and within two years of accepting position.
• Current BLS certification upon accepting PCN role.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Mansioni

• Assist care givers with standards of care and coordinate with nurse manager when needed.
• Ensure caregiver assignments are safe and escalation processes are known.
• Lead unit performance improvement processes as directed by leadership.
• Supervise and coordinate delegation of patient care for their shift/area.
• Primary contact for medical staff on shift; rounding with physicians when needed.
• Manage patient assignments and unit workflow to ensure timely care.
• Facilitate admissions and ensure discharge within reasonable time frames.
• Project staffing needs for upcoming 12–24 hours and escalate issues.
• Ensure staff take lunches and breaks; manage buddy system coverage.
• Conduct safety huddles and maintain up-to-date bedside shift reports.
• Encourage timely patient rounds and implement fall prevention tactics for high-risk patients.
• Engage in constructive conversations to address performance concerns.
