INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Night Shift RN Charge for a full-time role. You will supervise and coordinate licensed and unlicensed staff, ensure safe patient assignments, and lead unit workflow during the night shift.

The position emphasizes communication with medical staff, staff development, and adherence to care standards while supporting efficient patient flow and safety outcomes. Equal opportunity employer.

Competenze

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.
• ASN required; BSN preferred or within two years of accepting position.
• Current BLS certification for PCN role.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Department-specific competencies will be completed during orientation.

Mansioni

• Assisting caregivers with standards of care and coordinating with educators or supervisors as needed.
• Ensuring caregiver assignments are safe and escalate as required.
• Facilitates unit performance improvement processes per leadership direction.
• Supervises and coordinates delegation and implementation of patient care for their shift.
• Primary contact for medical staff on shift and conduct rounding when primary nurse is unavailable.
• Manage patient assignments and unit workflow.
• Support patient flow with admissions and timely discharges.
• Plan staffing needs for upcoming 12 and 24 hours and escalate issues.
• Ensure caregivers take lunches and breaks with buddy system relief as needed.
• Perform safety huddles and ensure bedside shift reports are consistent.
