Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Central Resource Team at Elmhurst Hospital in Illinois. This full-time, 36-hour week role is a night shift from 7pm to 7:30am, offering the opportunity to contribute to a large, Magnet-recognized system with a diverse patient population.
You will provide professional nursing care under the Illinois Act and hospital policies, perform assessments, document progress, and collaborate with care teams to meet unit goals while ensuring patient
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing
- Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within one year of start date into position
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Assesses patients' condition, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, records observations.
- Delegates appropriate patient care tasks and collaborates with the care team to meet unit goals.
