Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health in Naperville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Central Resource Team to work nights on a 36-hour week at Edward Hospital. Shift is 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with rotating weekends and holidays.

The role includes delivering professional nursing care in line with Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies, assessing patients, documenting observations, and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing is required.
• 1+ years' RN experience in an inpatient unit setting is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable, but must graduate with a BSN within five years if ADN is highest degree.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification are required; ACLS within one year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, and monitor progress.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to other staff and collaborate as a team to meet unit goals.
