Job summary

Moffitt is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MMH7 unit on the night shift at McKinley Hospital in Tampa. This 24-bed unit focuses on gynecology, sarcoma, thoracic, breast, and plastic surgery patients, with an interdisciplinary team and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN (ASN with experience considered), Florida RN licensure, BLS, and 1 year of inpatient experience. Position is contract/temporary for ~13 weeks with a daily rate of $65.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inpatient hospital experience required.
• Medical-Surgical experience preferred.
• Good customer service for patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
• Integrate patient and family centered care and quality caring factors into practice.
• Provide patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participate in evidence-based improvement activities in area of practice.
