Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required; ASN with 1 year experience acceptable.
• Current FL RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Inpatient hospital and medical-surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on nursing professional standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.
