Job summary

Moffitt McKinley Hospital MMH7 Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift on a 13-week contract, with extension possible. This 24-bed unit focuses on gynecology, sarcoma, thoracic, breast and plastic surgery patients, supported by an interdisciplinary team.

Expect nursing practice aligned with ANA ethics and Moffitt care standards, and a strong emphasis on education and family-centered care. The role offers a dynamic inpatient environment and value-based patient care in a renowned cancer

Qualifications

• BSN required; ASN with 1+ year relevant experience may be considered.
• RN license in FL (current).
• BLS Certification.
• 1 year inpatient hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families.
• Integrate patient- and family-centered care and caring factors.
• Identify and educate patients based on learning needs.
• Participate in evidence-based improvement activities in the practice area.
• Engage in professional development per nursing standards and requirements.
