Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for MMH7 on the Magnolia Hospital site. This 24-bed unit specializes in gynecology, sarcoma, thoracic, breast, and plastic surgery patients.

The RN delivers individualized quality nursing care in line with hospital guidelines and ANA codes, within a supportive interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidate has 1 year inpatient hospital experience, Medical-Surgical RN background, and strong patient-focused customer service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inpatient hospital experience.
• Medical-Surgical experience as a registered nurse.
• Good customer service for patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on nursing professional standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.
