Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for MMH7, a 24-bed unit focused on gynecology, sarcoma, thoracic, breast and plastic surgery. The RN delivers individualized nursing care per hospital guidelines and ANA code, using the nursing process to plan and manage care.

Qualifications include BSN preferred, 1 year inpatient hospital experience, Medical-Surgical RN experience, and current FL RN license; BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• RN with current FL license and BLS certification.
• Inpatient hospital experience required, Medical-Surgical preferred.
• Ability to deliver individualized patient-focused care per ANA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to cancer patients and families.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Educate patients and families and participate in quality improvement activities.
