Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan seeks a Registered Nurse for 7 C Behavioral Health, responsible for assessing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and planning nursing care on the 7pm–7am shift. You will ensure care plans are carried out through leadership of licensed nursing staff.

Essential qualifications include Michigan RN license, ACLS within 6 months, and at least two years in cardiac or critical care settings, plus ability to perform IVs, interpret 12-lead EKGs, and monitor telemetry.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Telemetry monitoring/interpretation experience.
• Ability to interpret 12-lead EKG.
• Experience in ICU, ED, or critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient status on admission and continuously thereafter.
• Develops and implements written plans of care with nursing actions.
• Leads nursing staff to ensure care plans are carried out.
