Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver quality nursing care on the Behavioral Health Unit, with float-to-observation coverage as needed. Shift is 7:00pm–7:30am, full-time, 72 hours per pay period, weekends required, no on-call.

The RN will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, intervene as needed, and evaluate outcomes, collaborating with the care team to uphold professional standards and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
