Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks a Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health Unit. The role involves delivering quality nursing care, coordinating with the healthcare team, and ensuring adherence to standards of nursing practice.

The position is full-time with a 7:00pm–7:30am schedule, and may float to observation as needed. Required are an associate degree in nursing, Michigan RN license and BLS; preferred is a BSN and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current State of Michigan RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
