Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Flint is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the 7 C Behavioral Health unit. You will assess patients, plan care, and lead nursing actions to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires Michigan RN licensure, ACLS within 6 months, and 2+ years in acute care or ER with telemetry and EKG interpretation. Travel through related cardiac services is possible in this setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient unit or ER within the last 5 years as an RN (to include PACU, CVCU; exclude 11S, Joint and Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Cath Lab, OR).
• Telemetry monitoring/interpretation experience within the last year and/or passing the Telemetry test.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents patient status on admission and continuously thereafter.
• Develops written plan of care with goals and nursing actions.
• Adheres to nursing standards and leads nursing actions on the unit.
