Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurology unit to deliver nursing care on a night shift schedule (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.). The role involves assessing patients, planning care, documenting responses, and supervising ancillary personnel as needed.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduate, MI RN license, BLS, and ACLS within six months for critical care areas; ACLS preferred in other units. Schedule is full-time with weekends as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• State of Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within six months for specified units.
• ACLS preferred in other units.
• Experience in a specialty area may be required to maintain competency.
• Ability to supervise ancillary personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each assigned patient, documents and evaluates response to care and adjusts as needed.
• Plans and implements the patient’s plan of care and provides patient teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
