Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care during night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. You will coordinate care for patients and families as part of the nursing process.

Required: graduate of an accredited nursing program, Michigan nursing license, ACLS within 6 months, and up-to-date Basic Arrhythmia. Preferred: BSN, telemetry experience, and acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess valid State of Michigan Nursing License.
• ACLS certified within 6 months of hire.
• Completed and up-to-date Basic Arrhythmia.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge needs of patient/family.
• Triages patients in accordance with Emergency Severity Index (ESI) minor to critical recommendations.
