Job summary

Raleigh Oaks Behavioral Health in Garner, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) with weekend rotation on a biweekly basis. The RN will supervise care provided by LPNs and CNAs, develop care plans, perform assessments, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing program with an active RN license.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric settings preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation training required or to be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for patients on assigned unit.
• Assess and reassess patients; develop and evaluate plans of care.
• Administer medications with two patient identifiers; monitor effects.
• Document patient data accurately; communicate with interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and hand-offs to staff.
