Job summary

Raleigh Oaks Behavioral Health in Garner, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7pm-7:30am) with every-other-weekend rotation. You will provide nursing care, assess patients, and coordinate treatment with LPNs, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include administering medications with two patient identifiers, documenting care, educating patients and families, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN license in NC or compact state.
• CPR and de-escalation training required; restraint certification preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates nursing care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develops and implements nursing care plans and maintains medical records.
• Administers medications with two patient identifiers and monitors effects.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to the treatment team promptly.
• Completes admission/discharge processes and documents thoroughly.
• Educates patients and families about medications, rights, and safety.
