Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises direct nursing staff and coordinates patient care.
• Oversees unit coverage based on acuity, absences, and staffing needs.
• Coordinates nursing, medical and behavioral health care activities with staff.
• Administers medications and maintains MAR documentation.
• Conducts rounds, ensures plan of care is initiated and updated as needed.
• Manages staff scheduling and contingency staffing plans.
• Ensures nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and adherence to policies.
