Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluation and document symptoms, functioning and needs.
• Coordinate with medical and psychiatric staff for admissions.
• Handle insurance pre-certifications and verify coverage during high volume.
• Document medical necessity and obtain physician orders and DSM-V diagnoses when appropriate.
• Educate patients on medications and monitor adherence and side effects.
