Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Miamisburg location. The RN will provide nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with other health care providers, while maintaining accountability for professional development within legal scope.

Responsibilities include advocating for patients, delegating as appropriate, and contributing to performance and practice improvement activities in a not-for-profit health system serving southwest Ohio.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if you are a new graduate nurse.
• A refresher course may be required for nurses returning after five years.
• BLS certification and advanced life support credentials (ACLS/NRP/PALS) may be required per unit scope.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide care in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Be accountable for professional development and practice within legal scope.
• Act as a patient advocate to ensure safe care and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Deliver nursing care that reflects the organization’s mission, vision, values, and nursing department goals.
