Job summary

Kettering Health Network in Miamisburg, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts. The RN will provide nursing care across settings in collaboration with other health care providers and is accountable for professional growth within legal practice bounds.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• A nurse returning to acute care after five or more years may need a refresher course.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process in providing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other health care providers.
• RN is accountable for own professional development and practice within legal scope.
• Act as a patient advocate for safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.
• Delivery of nursing care reflecting the KH Network missions, vision, values, and philosophies.
