Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• BSN for internal or external hire without BSN must enroll within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• BLS required; CPI certification within 90 days; professional certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates hospital activities with emphasis on communications, patient throughput, patient experience, quality rounding, safety, and efficiency.
• Act as administrative designee in cooperation with Administration and Administrator-On-Call.
• Promote a safe environment and maintain clinical and professional competency in patient care supervision.
• Coordinate shift management of patient flow and admissions/transfers with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor staffing for current and upcoming shifts using Float Pool or PRN resources.
