Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks an RN Administrative Supervisor for part-time night shifts. The role focuses on staffing, patient flow and operational efficiency across Levine Children's Hospital, with weekend rotation and holiday duties.

Responsible for rounds, policy adherence and leadership of nursing teams to ensure quality care. The position requires BSN, RN licensure, BLS, and CPI certification within 90 days of hire, with prior nursing and management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BSN required. RN candidates must enroll in BSN within 1 year and finish within 3 years.
• BLS required; CPI certification within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates hospital activities with emphasis on communications, patient throughput and safety.
• Authorized to act as administrative designee in cooperation with Administration.
• Promotes a safe environment and maintains clinical and professional competency.
• Rounds on units to assess efficiency, patient care satisfaction and staffing.
• Guides staff on compliance with Nursing Practice Act and company policies.
• Coordinates shift management and patient flow with bed management and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitors staffing for current and upcoming shifts using Float Pool and PRN resources.
