Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state (NC).
• Two years nursing experience preferred; management preferred.
• BSN required; BSN-enrollment within 1 year if not yet BSN.
• BLS and CPI certifications required within defined timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate hospital activities with focus on communications and patient throughput.
• Round on teammates; work with bed management to optimize patient flow.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and nursing policies.
• Respond as administrative designee in cooperation with Administration.
• Guide shifts, huddles, and meetings to exchange information and improve operations.
• Coordinate resource utilization to meet patient care needs.
• Monitor staffing and participate in patient placement and throughput meetings.
• Provide guidance on new or unusual treatments and emergencies.
