Qualifications

• Care Planning (Novice): Demonstrates ability to anticipate resource needs, set priorities, schedule activities, and adapt to changes.
• Nursing Patient Education (Novice): Provides patient education as part of care planning.
• Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation (Novice): Assesses and evaluates patients and gathers pertinent clinical data.
• Evidence-Based Practice (Novice): Searches for evidence to answer clinical questions and applies findings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and intervention needs.
• Utilizes the nursing process to evaluate progress and adjust care as needed.
• Promotes a safe, healthy environment and educates patients and families.
